Lead Teller / CSR

We have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced energetic and ambitious Lead Teller/CSR in our South Leesburg office.

This position involves supervising branch and drive-in Tellers for assigned office. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that Tellers are following policies, procedures and operating efficiently. This position involves considerable customer contact such as; assisting customers with opening accounts, modifying existing accounts, cross-selling bank services and products, assisting customers with account problems and/or questions, assisting Office Manager and Assistant Office Manager and acting as a Teller when needed during peak hours of operation, as well as other related duties.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to count cash accurately and efficiently
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of deposit operation practices and financial products/services
  • Strong knowledge of Teller function, and operational policies and procedures
  • Proven problem solver who exercises sound judgement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
  • Efficient and effective time management skills
  • Must display honesty, integrity and professionalism at all times

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years Teller experience in a financial institution with emphasis on cash handling, customer service and sales
  • Leadership skill set desirable
