The First National Bank of Mount Dora is aware of a fraudulent automated calling system that has been calling many phone numbers in the Mount Dora area. The received call states that your First National Bank card has been suspended and asks the called party to call another number to “reactivate” their card. Upon calling the given number the caller is prompted to enter their card number and other pertinent information.
Please remember that the protection of your personal and financial information is of the utmost importance to The First National Bank of Mount Dora. Therefore, employees of the bank, or any of its affiliates, will never ask you to provide account information via the internet or telephone. If you have received any telephone calls or e-mails prompting for this information please report them immediately to our Security Officer.
